Biography

  • Kristine O’Connell George was born in Denver, Colorado.

 

  • Moved many times when she was young.

 

  • Lived in Idaho, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, and California.

 

  • In 1989 she attended a writing class taught by Myra Cohn Livingston.

 

  • George studied with Livingston until her death in 1996.

 

  • Loves to write.

 

  • Hobbies include:  tennis, golf, hiking, photography, collage, gardening, sewing, and reading

 

  • Makes school visits with Studebaker-paper mache frog made by Karen Croner.

 

  • Lives with her family in the Santa Monica Mountains of California.

 

  • Enjoys investigating her backyard for writing ideas.
